There is still a LONG way to go! A group of brothers and sisters at Renewal are putting together a group of thirteen to go down and serve the city of New Orleans! If you're interested in supporting this cause, check out the different ways to help support our team, who will be there from (12/21-12/28) to serve with a local church in helping the people of NOLA rebuild what was lost from Hurricane Katrina, Ike, & Gustav! Ways to get involved:

Frame Drive:
- What: Collect [5x7] photo frames, new or old.
- When: Sunday 12/7 & 12/14 after each service
- Where: Drop off boxes located in their respective fellowship halls after each service. Boxes will have signs, "NOLA 08' Photo Frames"
- Why: Many N.O. residents have lost everything including sentimental family portraits
- Service: NOLA 08' team will be taking & developing photos to distribute to the residents of the city.
Prayer Ministry, just a few of litany of prayers needed
- Area of devastation, Katrina destroyed 108K square miles, e.g., 27K homes went under 20+ feet of water!
- Lack of qualified construction companies and workers, volume of damage caused to be too much work for legitimate companies
- Many fraudulent "overnight" companies posing as construction, demolition, etc. sprung up and conned many of the residents
- No flood insurance
- Many people are still living out of state with no way to get home. No job or home to come back to!

Monetary contributions support cost of developing pictures and local church establishment.
