Missions Conference

We are excited to announce our Missions Conference! Below is a brief schedule and details about each session. Due to the sensitive nature of the work that many of our speakers are in, we are not posting their photos and names online. We ask that you also exercise caution when sharing this event.

FRIDAY

Service: 7:30 – 9pm at West Philly campus

The New Normal – Matthew 24:1-14

SATURDAY

1st Morning seminar: 10 – 11am at West Philly campus

Missions: An extraordinary life or an extraordinarily normal life? There is a growing recognition for how the vocational affinities of individual believers can greatly serve missional opportunity and effectiveness within contexts of long-standing, resistant religions. Join us as we hear one particular story of how this is playing out in Central Asia and discuss how churches and their members can proactively cultivate a more dynamic and symbiotic integration between work and mission.

Break: 11 – 11:15am

2nd Morning seminar – 11:15am – 12:15pm

Coming Alongside Your Missionaries: Offering Grace at the Fray – Lindsay Kimball, Serge

What does it look like to care for and support those your church sends, in both relational and practical ways? A missionary’s support system is multifaceted, but nothing replaces the crucial role of their sending church. Learn more about the lesser known struggles of life on the mission field, and how you can play a unique role in loving, serving, and encouraging your missionaries from afar.

Luncheon Small Groups – 12:30 – 1:30
