Renewal Ministry Visions & Goals
It’s been a year and a half since the launch of Renewal Presbyterian Church and its vision.
Some of us may have been wondering, so what’s different, what’s changed.
Throughout September the elders are presenting various ministries, some revised and some new.
When we put the pieces together, we believe that this will help us renew lives in Christ to transform
our city and the world. Since our launch, we’ve begun a new chapter for our church, a new stage of development,
growth and maturity.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The Children's Ministry exists to meet the heart of a child where they are at with the good news of Jesus Christ.
The focus is to raise our children in the love and guidance of the Lord, that they would have a biblical framework to
interpret their world at every stage of development.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Renewal Christian Education is the educational arm of the church, seeking to nurture and equip our congregation
with the Biblical, theological, and practical resources necessary to grow in (1) fellowship with God, (2) community
with one another, and (3) service to our city and the world — so that our city and the world may be transformed by the
Gospel through our church.

CITY MINISTRY
City Ministries will be organized into four teams: Mercy Ministry Team, Social Action Team, Education Team, and
Networking Team. Each of the four teams is responsible for various aspects of City Ministries. Each team leader is
expected to raise awareness within the church and network with individuals and groups outside the church.

COUNSELING MINISTRY
The Counseling Ministry exists to begin a culture transformation within the church, from one of uncomfortable
silence to one of willful and intentional counseling relationships that bring spiritual healing. The members of this
ministry will provide individual biblical counseling for those seeking such help.

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
To lead a believer in the church to clearly understand the connection between the gospel and his life and to guide
him in deepening his relationship with Christ so that he can spiritually mature, independently in Christ.

EVANGELISM MINISTRY
The evangelism ministry exists to both encourage and equip church members to share the gospel in order that the
church will be faithful to the Great Commission and grow mainly as a result of evangelism rather than transfer
growth.

FAMILY MINISTRY
The Family Ministry focuses to help families mature in their relationship with Christ so that couples will grow
in union and Christlikeness, parents will disciple their children, and families will actively participate in the work
of the church.

MISSIONS
Missions Board exists to build God’s Kingdom throughout the Nations as a Church through both the ministry of Words
and Deeds by Raising, Sending & Partnering with our own members.

The small group ministry exists to nurture and mature members in the context of intimate community and to serve
as a place where new members can be brought into the church and introduced to Christ.
