Renewal Publications

What does "Theophilus" mean?
Depending on the source, Theophilus means:

  • "one whom God loves"
  • "a friend of God"
  • "a lover of God"

Our church's newsletter is called "Dear Theophilus" as its purpose is to be a source of encouragement and truth, addressed to all of God's beloved who are striving to know and love Him back.

DT’s Mission:

  1. To serve as a quarterly bulletin for the Renewal's various activities, events, ministries, trips, etc.
  2. To be a medium for sharing personal written testimonies
  3. To correspond with Renewal's nationwide (sometimes international) diaspora of alumni
  4. To be a medium for artistic (graphic and literary) expression of God’s love in our lives
  5. Upon achieving these goals, the members of the congregation can be better equipped to serve individuals and ministries in prayer, general support, encouragement, and participation.
