Children's Ministry
Welcome to Renewal Children's Ministry. We believe that each classroom, from Nursery to Sunday School, is a place of learning, sharing and growing in Christ’s love and His Word. We are excited about this ministry and hope your child will become a part of it.
SUNDAY (10:00AM – 11:30AM)
- Nursery (3 months – approx. 24 months) meets in the Nursery Rooms (Ground level immediately outside the sanctuary)
- Sunday School (3 yrs+) meets in the classrooms in the lower level basement.

| GENERAL POLICIES
1) Please label ALL bags, sippy cups and any personal items for BOTH the nursery and Sunday School classes.
2) A parent should drop off and pick up child immediately after service.
3) We would like all the parents to participate in worship. If your child is going through separation anxiety, please let us know so that we may work with you and your child during this time.

| HEALTH POLICIES
Though we would like all children to worship every Sunday with us, we also want to ensure the health of other children and teachers. Please refrain from bringing your child to the Nursery or Sunday School classes if he/she has had the following symptoms in the past 24 hours: diarrhea/upset stomach, pink eye, vomiting, fever, rash, open sores, runny nose (clear is okay).

| INFANTS AND CRAWLERS
We see this classroom (birth to 12 month olds) as not only babysitting, but also your child’s “first” Sunday School experience. We give simple Biblical messages (i.e. God Loves You!) to each infant and sing songs through one-on-one interaction. We also wipe down and disinfect the nursery every Sunday. We ask that parents provide the children’s snacks and drinks. To ensure safety, we only allow caretakers and nursing mothers to enter the room. We encourage parents to sign in your child at the front door. In addition, our nursery is set up with a walkie-talkie system to communicate with a worship committee member who will relay any messages to the appropriate parent during service. We will notify the parents when it is time to promote the child to the Toddler Class.

| TODDLERS
This room is for 12 months – 24 months old children. We minister to this wonderful age through a combination of one-on-one Bible lessons to group activities (i.e. bubble time) and songs. Snacks are provided. We ask that the parents provide drinks. Your child will stay in this room until after his/her 2nd birthday.

| PRE-SCHOOL (2 and 3 year olds)
In this class, we teach praise songs, read Bible stories, and provide activities/crafts and snacks/drinks. We ask that you provide specific dietary restrictions to the head teacher, as necessary. Children will graduate to the next class every September.

| KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE
We teach praise songs, give Bible lessons and provide crafts/activities and snacks/drinks. Because the children’s ministry is still young, we provide classes on an as needed basis. Presently, we are able to effectively teach and cater to these two different age groups in one classroom.
