Sunday Service Childcare Volunteers

We are in need of a rotation of childcare volunteers to care for our children during Sunday service from now to August. If you would like to help, please contact the Renewal office.

Christian Education Classes in May

We are offering the following classes in the month of May. Registration is closed.

  • Have The Mind of Christ!: Recovering a Christian Worldview
    Fridays, May 3, 10, 17 (7:30–9:30pm)

Our society is increasingly challenging, and even hostile, toward Christians who stand on their beliefs. Thus, we can succumb to the prevailing unbiblical views of the culture around us on all kinds of issues. This class will serve as an introduction to formulating an intellectual Christian worldview that applies to all of life. Though this class will only scratch the surface, the goal is to show how Christians should bring their worldview to bear on our world today, no matter how foolish and narrow-minded we may seem.

  • Understanding the Book of Revelation
    Sundays, May 5, 12, 19 (10:00am–11:00am)

Christians largely avoid the book of Revelation because it is strange, confusing, and difficult to digest. But God gave the church this precious book as the final word in the Bible to strengthen our faith, hope, and love. This class will help provide a basic framework for reading and benefitting from Revelation. Part of the class will also tackle what we believe about the "end times," interacting with the various views concerning events like rapture, millennium, and the judgment.

Women's Enrichment Day: Saturday, May 18

Women of Renewal, join us from 10:00am to 2:00pm, for a day of instruction, life-on-life discussion, and prayer with fellow sisters! (Lunch will be provided.) Our guest speaker will be Monica Kim, Associate Faculty and a counselor at CCEF. Monica will share on what it looks like to be women rooted in the Word of God as individuals and in our relationships. Registration is closed.

We desire this gathering to help one another process and obey God's call on our lives for missions. For now, we plan on meeting once a month from January to May. We plan on using a new missions documentary DVD series, "Dispatches From the Front," as content for discussion and prayer. Please contact carmen.yan@gmail.com for more information.
