  • Gospel Foundations Class (Membership Class)

    This class is designed to provide a theological foundation for the Christian life, as well as introduce you to Renewal: our central beliefs, our vision and core values, and what church membership entails. The 3-session class is required for membership at Renewal, as well as for those seeking to get baptized. Registration is now closed.

    • Session 1: Saturday, October 18 (10:00am–2:00pm)
    • Session 2: Sunday, October 19 (11:15am–1:30pm)
    • Session 3: Sunday, October 26 (11:15am–1:30pm)

  • October Service Opportunities: Mercy Ministries

    There are some great opportunities every month to go and serve our city. Check out the various serving opportunities and consider volunteering.

    • Community Service Day at Lea Elementary: Saturday, October 25

      Renewal will be joining with other community organizations to serve the students and staff at Lea Elementary. Renewal's role will be to clean out and decorate the teachers' lounge. If you'd like to help with this day of service, please contact Steph Fahringer (

  • Renewal Educators Group Gathering: Saturday, November 1

    Calling all teachers and educators at Renewal! We want this group to be used to ground us in Christ's work and to connect us with one another regardless of how long or short you have been an educator or in what capacity you teach. Join us for our fall gathering, where we'll be using this time to get to know each other, to share our stories, and to pray for one another!

  • Infant Baptisms

    If you would like to have your infant baptized during our baptism service on Sunday, November 23, please contact the Renewal office ( by Sunday, November 2.

  • Children's Harvest Festival: Saturday, November 8

    The families of Renewal are invited to put on their costumes and join us for our annual Children's Harvest Festival on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00am–1:00pm. Volunteers are needed to help with this event. Please contact Nate Pugh ( if you are interested in helping!

    Consider joining a community group near you.

  • Community Group Childcare Babysitters

    To help Renewal families attend community group regularly, volunteers are needed to help babysit their children on Thursday and Friday evenings. If you are interested in babysitting, please ask your CG leader for more information or email

  • Renewal Parent Community

    If you are a veteran parent, a new parent, or an expecting parent, you are invited to join the newly formed Renewal Parent Community Google Group. This online forum will be used to distribute information related to community group childcare, children's gear exchange, Renewal Moms Group, and other means of caring for Renewal families.   • Mom's Group

    Our Mom's group meets every 2nd Thursday and 4th Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Childcare is provided. Our next meeting is this Thursday August 14. We are also looking for childcare workers, this is a paid opportunity to serve! Please email Megan Lui, for more info or to be added to our email list.

  • Renewal Women's Intramural Flag Football League

    All ladies at Renewal are welcome to play intramural flag football! Come on out and get to know other sisters in the church. No experience necessary! The season is 9 weeks long (September 7 – November 2), every Sunday from 3-6pm at Edgley Field (Reservoir Drive & Randolph Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19147). Register online.

Children's Ministry:

  • Child Drop-Off Locations

    Children 4 and under can be dropped off before the start of the 9:30am service. The nursery room (for ages 2 and under) is in the 1st floor lobby. 3’s–4’s can be dropped off upstairs on the 2nd floor.

  • Older Kids to Attend Service

    Children kindergarten and up are asked to join their parents for the beginning of the worship service. They will be dismissed to Children’s Church with their teachers during the announcements.

  • Child Pick-Up Locations

    Parents are asked to pick up their children immediately after the service, from the nursery room (ages 2 and under) or the 2nd floor (ages 3 and up).

Counseling & Care:

  • Getting Diaconate Care

    Speak with a Renewal deacon or deaconess if you would like to speak to someone about receiving care. Email, or speak with a pastor, elder, deacon, or deaconess after Sunday service.
