Upcoming Events:

  • Winter Break Sunday Service Schedule

We will be going to our one Sunday service schedule of 11:15am starting from December 14 through January 11. Parents, please note that Children's Sunday School (but no nursery) will be at 10:00am on these Sundays. We will have childcare available for all ages during service on every one of these Sundays.

    • Winter Break Service Babysitting Volunteers Needed

We are in need of volunteers to babysit our children during any of our Sunday services from December 14 to January 11. You would need to forego attending service the week you're volunteering. If you are interested in serving the families in this way, email Nate Pugh at nate.j.pugh@gmail.com.

  • December Service Opportunities: Mercy Ministries

There are some great opportunities every month to go and serve our city. Check out the various serving opportunities and consider volunteering.

  • Congregational Retreat: January 23-25, 2015

Join us for our congregational retreat on the weekend of January 23-25 (Friday night through Sunday afternoon) at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference on the Jersey shore. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Bruce Finn, Coordinator of Metro Philadelphia Church Planting Partnership and Pastor of Missions at Covenant Church in Doylestown, PA. Missions:

  • Perspectives on the World Christian Movement: 15-Week Missions Course

Renewal is privileged to host the next Perspectives missions course in the greater Philadelphia area. God has a "world-sized" role for every Christian in His global purpose. Whether you go to a distant country or stay at home, get threaded into God's story as you experience His heart for every tribe, tongue, people, and nation and encounter the momentum of the World Christian Movement. The course will be held on Tuesday evenings, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, from January 13 to April 28, 2015. The base price for the class is $295. You can get more information about the course and register at the Perspectives website (www.perspectives.org).

  • Renewal Missions Community

In 2015, we will be resuming our Missions Community, a periodic gathering for those who are seriously considering long-term missions. We desire this gathering to help one another process and obey God's call on our lives for missions. If you are looking to attend the gatherings, sign up to receive emails for the Missions Community.

  • Renewal Short-Term Missions 2015: East Asia Partnership Support Trip

We will be sending a team to East Asia in support of the work going on there through our long-term missionary. The trip dates are May 27 through June 29, 2015. If you are interested in applying for this trip, pick up an application in the mailbox in the side entrance lobby.

Children's Ministry:

  • Child Drop-Off Locations

Children 4 and under can be dropped off before the start of the 9:30am service. The nursery room (for ages 2 and under) is in the 1st floor lobby. 3’s–4’s can be dropped off upstairs on the 2nd floor.

  • Older Kids to Attend Service

Children kindergarten and up are asked to join their parents for the beginning of the worship service. They will be dismissed to Children’s Church with their teachers during the announcements.

  • Child Pick-Up Locations

Parents are asked to pick up their children immediately after the service, from the nursery room (ages 2 and under) or the 2nd floor (ages 3 and up).

Get Connected:

  • Renewal Community Groups

Community groups are the primary means through which Renewal gathers to live out the gospel and mature together in its truth (gospel community) and to spread the gospel incarnationally through word and deed (gospel mission). Consider joining a CG near you:

  • Community Group Childcare Babysitters

To help Renewal families attend community group regularly, volunteers are needed to help babysit their children on Thursday and Friday evenings. If you are interested in babysitting, please ask your CG leader for more information or email parents@renewalchurch.org.

  • Renewal Parent Community

If you are a veteran parent, a new parent, or an expecting parent, we invite you to join the newly formed Renewal Parent Community Google Group. This online forum is used to distribute information related to community group childcare, children's gear exchange, the Renewal Moms Group, and other means of caring for our Renewal families. To join, visit renewalchurch.org/parents. Contact Samantha Kim at parents@renewalchurch.org if you have any questions.

  • Renewal Mom's Group

Our Mom's group meets every 2nd Thursday and 4th Saturday from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Childcare is provided. We are also looking for childcare workers, this is a paid opportunity to serve! Contact Megan Lui at mkoneil@gmail.com for more information or to be added to our email list.
