  • Winter Break Sunday Service Schedule: December 11 – January 8
    We will be going to our one Sunday service schedule of 10:30am starting from December 11 through January 8. Parents, there will be Children's Sunday School and Nursery on these Sundays, except Christmas (December 25) when we encourage all kids to join in on the worship service that day.

  • Congregational Retreat: January 20-22, 2016
    Join us for our upcoming congregational retreat at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference (Harvey Cedars, NJ) the weekend of January 20-22. Our speaker will be Pastor Watson Jones of Restoration Church in the Germantown neighborhood of Philly. If you are in a community group, please register with your community group leaders. If you are not yet in a community group, you can register online. The early registration deadline is January 5.

  • Giving Toward the Lausanne Movement
    Last Sunday, Dr. Michael Oh shared about the urgent financial need for the Lausanne Movement, a global missions council he currently leads as Global Executive Director. If you would like more information about the Movement, please visit and consider making a donation.

  • Sunday Multimedia Committee Help
    We are in need of more volunteers for our Sunday multimedia committee during the 9:30am & 11:30am service. The multimedia committee runs media for the service and for our website. If you are interested in serving in this way, contact Kevin Park (

Service Opportunities:

  • ACTS Ministry (Tenth's Homeless Dinner): Sun., Dec. 11, 1:30-3:30pm
    We need 12-14 volunteers to help host the homeless, serve food, and do kitchen work at Tenth Church (17th & Spruce). The contact person is Sarah Kim Lee (

  • Cedar Park Neighbors Holiday Basket Drive: Sat., Dec. 17, 8am-11am
    Cedar Park Neighbors, our local neighborhood association, partners with area churches and non-profits to prepare and distribute holiday food baskets for the needy in our neighborhood. Renewal will be hosting the packing of the baskets on Saturday, December 17, so we will need about 10 volunteers to help prepare and distribute the baskets! The contact person is Jae Sim (

  • Bethesda Project: My Brother's House Christmas Gift Sign Up: By December 17
    Bethesda Project has requested Christmas gift donations for the residents of My Brother's House homeless shelter. In the spirit of giving and celebrating all that Christ has given to us, would you and/or your community group consider sponsoring a gift for residents who won't be able to celebrate with family? (Getting a group of people to sign up and chip in together for a gift is recommended.) If you would like to prepare a gift and are not on the Bethesda e-mail list, please contact Sung Park ( for instructions and access to the "wish list".
