Renewal Community Groups
Community groups are the primary means through which Renewal gathers to live out the gospel and mature together in its truth (gospel community) and to spread the gospel incarnationally through word and deed (gospel mission). Consider joining a CG near you:
Community Group Childcare Babysitters
To help Renewal families attend community group regularly, volunteers are needed to help babysit their children on Thursday and Friday evenings. If you are interested in babysitting, please ask your CG leader for more information or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Renewal Parent Community
If you are a veteran parent, a new parent, or an expecting parent, we invite you to join the newly formed Renewal Parent Community Google Group. This online forum is used to distribute information related to community group childcare, children's gear exchange, the Renewal Moms Group, and other means of caring for our Renewal families. To join, visit renewalchurch.org/parents. Contact Samantha Kim at email@example.com if you have any questions.
Renewal Mom's Group
Our Mom's group meets every second Thursday (playgroup) and last Saturday (devotional) from 10:30am to 12:00pm. Childcare is provided. We are also looking for childcare workers, which is a paid opportunity to serve. Contact Megan Lui (firstname.lastname@example.org) if interested in helping or to be added to our email list.
Ongoing Church Events & News:
Take a moment and subscribe to our emergency alert system. Once subscribed, Renewal can text your cell phone in case of extreme weather, disaster or other emergency. This alert system will be used (along with email, Web updates, and Facebook) for any snow or weather related cancellations. Subscribe at www.renewalchurch.org/alerts.
Weddings Through Renewal
For engaged couples looking to have a Renewal pastor officiate their wedding, there is a formal process that we ask you to go through starting at least four months before your wedding date. This includes attending an all-day Saturday premarital seminar, which is offered only three times a year on set dates. Visit www.renewalchurch.org/weddings for all the information, and please plan ahead!
Renewal Bulletin Board: Social Events, Community Announcements, Etc.
There is now an active bulletin board posted at the main entrance to the sanctuary. On the calendar, you will be able to view Renewal events for the month and post any Renewal social events you'd like to share. In addition, there are areas to post community announcements, things you need, and things you have to sell or give away. This will hopefully help keep everyone informed of the various events going on. If you have any questions, please contact Samantha Kim at email@example.com.
