Mainline/Media/Delaware Small Group

Hello Renewal! WE ARE ... MMD! MMD stands for the Mainline-Media-Delaware Small Group. Our regional small group covers the Mainline area, wanders down Route 1 towards Media, and then continues further south into the beautiful state of Delaware. MMD is speckled with a colorful and vast array of personalities and backgrounds which inevitably make for a unique and united bunch.

MMD SG Vision Statement:
To invest in each others' lives by encouraging and reminding one another about Christ and what He did for us on the cross, how we should live for Him, and how He will use us to bless one another.

We also came up with another name for our small group called G-Unit, which is short for God's Unit! The design and creation of our small group t-shirts shortly ensued, following after the rap group but adding a JESUS twist in the process. Additionally, these shirts represent our personal hip hop stage names and for this reason, we always take two group shots at every event; the first being our "regular" shot and the second being our "gangsta" shot. Concrete evidence will follow shortly.

This past year has been such a blessing yet challenging year for many of us. Journeying through the highs and lows of young adult life, taking classes and working in our offices and classrooms, as well as dealing with the realities of life, have pierced all of us deeply. Yet these challenges have given us amazing opportunities to be able to grow and learn from our experiences together as a group. We have learned what it means to earnestly encourage and passionately pray for one another. Most importantly, we have learned what it means to worship and praise God during seasons of both mourning and dancing. Meeting and welcoming new members into our group (like lil' Justin) and recently sending off so many members, have been a testimony of this. Though it was a blessing yet sad time, we hope that those that have been sent-off will take what we have learned this past year about gospel transformation and really live a life that is a testament of the beauty of the gospel!
