International Justice Mission (IJM)

Friday, April 11th - Saturday, April 12th, 2008
Twenty-two people from Renewal headed down to Washington DC to attend the annual Prayer Gathering for International Justice Mission (IJM). The purpose of this conference was simply to spend the whole day learning and praying. We prayed corporately as over four-hundred people gathered together to praise God through the worship leading of Ten Shekel Shirt. We prayed individually as we visited numerous rooms representing the different countries where IJM works. Regional directors shared about answered prayers from last year and new needs and issues that are pressing for this year. This Gathering was such a time for all of us to learn about the needs of those suffering from injustice and to see how God's heart breaks for these people. We pray that you all will attend next year and take a step towards being part of God's movement!!
