Women's Flag Football Tournament

The women of Renewal played their hearts out at the 2006 Women's Flag Football Tournament which included a total of eight local churches that gathered to compete over in Trenton, New Jersey's Mercer County Park. Having practiced every Sunday afternoon for the past two months, the ladies came together as a team that day to play some hard-nosed football and to take the opportunity to play side by side, as sisters in Christ. The team was run by 13 coaches, and along came the loyal Renewal fans that day, to cheer on our ladies!

One of the team's slogans was "Hustle and Heart", which was surely shown and left on the field. The team also prepared for each game with a "Getcha Dance On" pumping up session, where each position was called out to the circle to dance with the stars.
